Just heard that Mr Rotten's going to be on the next series of 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Hear' with Jordan... Words fail me...

I actually think that appearing on such a trashy show proves, yet again, that the man don't give a f**k.

'PUNK' doesn't mean wearing safety pins and sporting a mohican. PUNK is an attitude; it's about defying expectations, and not giving a toss what people think.

He truly is the godfather of punk.

And if this show leads to lucrative advertising deals... GOOD FOR HIM! he'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Plus, surely, Jansenclone, you agree that his appering on the show will make it 1000% more interesting?[/img]

No it won't. It'll still be unwatchable carp.

We'll it means I'll watch it hoping he'll be rude, sarcastic, unco-operative, and genrally entertaining.

What's the bet they edit him to look stupid?

heh heh me too.
though they do say he's really sweet when you get to know him... I have a horrible mental image of him bonding with Jenny Bond, and discovering his 'inner child' with Frank Carson.

Oh God. Surely even her husband doesn't think that.

I can only imagine that Lydon badly needs the fifty grand (Jordan, by the way, is getting a hundred, but is clearly twice as interesting to the average viewer), but hasn't properly thought this through.

You can be condescending and sneering and sarcastic for a while, and no doubt funny too, but the act is harder to perform when you're eating grubs and bathing in sh*te. Maybe his aim is to get voted out pronto, take the money and run. I hope so, because the needy desperation to win of these 'celebs' in the past has been embarrassing.

(or so I read in the paper. Ahem.)

Advertising rules the world.

Did you know that hospitals/homes etc are advised to have their tellies tuned to ITV to avoid exciting the inmates...
