New to the forum. I noticed recently that someone had confirmed a spring tour without confirming dates. I'm sure that I am just missing them somewhere, does anyone have complete dates? (esp. US dates)

TIA

hi and welcome :)

the bad news is that the post you saw on here was someone quoting a post made on the dominion mailing list, which was a joke...

there is no tour announced. anywhere. yet.

sadly :(

they don't appear with great frequency in the US, i'm hoping for this year. if not a new release would be nice. probably wishful thinking.

So will there be a 2004 tour? Is there the demand? Have they anything new to offer? Willl it simply be history repeating itself?.

Questions, questions, questions ...

I think you've just summed up why the Sisters WON'T tour this year.

I have no problem with history repeating itself. Any tour or activity would be good. The odd new song would be even nicer but hey ho.

That's what I'm afraid of. :|

heres an idea:

lets stop talking about a new tour/album and maybe von will think that we hate him and realise he's got his head WAY too far up his arse, go to some sort of arsehole clinic and come out with all kinds of new musical innovations ;D

I think he'd tour for catfood.

He hates America and Bush is still president...can't see him coming here at all. Pity.

Since I can't take much holiday this year, let alone go abroad, I hope he postpones a tour until 2005. When I can at least be there! And he's got to play London at the same time as a Zodiac gig. Two birds with one stone, LOL.

Hey, that's not very charitable. I hope he does tour the US, as well as Europe. If he ever makes an album, he'll have to tour it to some degree, especially if he's with a new record company and therefore on (what counts for Von as) good behaviour. I hope everyone gets to see the glory of the Sisters. Except the French, naturally.

Perhaps suggest to :von: he has Zodiac as support?

I can almost hear :von: laughing from here ...

But Chris it's realistic! He hasn't been here in ages! He tours Europe a LOT, and UK a bit. I would love for him to come here, that way I could go to several gigs, but I am not holding my breath.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold your breath either. But stranger things have happened. So anyway, on the subject, what happens if he does a little tour of Amreekaland, and as is quite possible, the nearest gig is hundreds of miles away? How far would you travel? How many days off work would you skip, to see the uberband?

That would be a volatile line up if the rumour I heard was true...That Eldritch stole one of Z's wives, and he's banned Von's music from his presense.

Can anyone validate this rumour? I heard it from someone who's mate was Zodiac's girlfriend until this past September. And yes, I was able to confirm this girl indeed knows Z (off his website no less.)

And JB a joint Sisters/Zodiac gig is not gonna work for me........ by the time Von hits the stage I'll have already been taken away for accosting Z on stage.  LOL

I can just see him standing on a street corner holding a bit of cardboard with "will tour for catfood" written on it now!

My prediction: a coupla autumn European festivals, no new songs, one older one reintroduced into the set, a different opener and some onstage quips about the US presidency race during Vision Thing.

Zodiac must be one ugly mother if Von's good looks distracted his missus. :innocent:

I'd go as far as California which is the same for me as flying to London, only without jet lag!. I can take all the time I want provided it's not my busy season. I am not allowed time off between September and November 15, however this year, it's going to be more like April until November. My client's putting in a new financial system in April, which is 3rd quarter and they aren't planning to run parallel with the old   increasing the likelihood of failure!

Hence, 2005 is better for me. And yes I'd go to Europe or UK, preferably UK because I can speak your language, sort of...I just have the matter of convincing Mr. BP to let me go by myself.

Which might be difficult, given that your express intention is to seduce a certain love god...
