My theory is... the band were basically f**king bored last summer - hence the dodgy appearances at other bands gigs in Germany, presumeably to relieve the boredom caused by the lack of offers from european festival promoters in the light of the shoddy attendance figures of the "Smoke & Mirrors" tour........

I was gonna say that because they had no new product to pimp, there was no justification in dragging the Sister's Theatre of the Absurd around Europe, but then it hasn't stopped them before.
Sadly, I believe the law of diminishing returns applies in this instance.
