Unknown Bootleg

Hi!

I've been traweling through all my records over the past couple of week cataloging them and what not. I have found a boot (12") that I had forgotten I had that just has:

The Sisters Of Mercy
Floorshow

on a pink front cover

with something to do with pigs on the back in yellow and black and space to write in a track listing. Haven't listened to the gig so I can't give any pointers. Anyone got any ideas what this may be from that vague description? Next time I pop to the parents I'll pick it up and have a listen.

I think I once had a sisters boot with a picture of a pig on the back. It was made by "Trade Mark Of Quality" - their covers are really crap, just a bogstandard generic cover with the title across it. The one I had was "Wholy Ghost" and was a really poor recording of Stockholm'85.

And a quick search of merciless.net produces-
2LP the Amazing Kornyfone Record Label TAKRL 2402
TRACKLIST: First and Last and Always/ Body and Soul/ Amphetamine Logic/ Marian/ No Time to Cry/ Possession/ Walk Away/ Heartland/ Some Kind of Stranger/ a Rock and a Hard Place/ Train/ Floorshow/ Body Electric/ Alice/ Gimme Shelter/ Gimme Gimme Gimme (a Man After Midnight)/ Sister Ray

NOTES: Limited to 500 copies. Pink cover with 'Sisters of Mercy' 'Floorshow' in black block letters.

RECORDING NOTES: Recorded in London at the Lyceum on 3/24/85
GIG: 19850324
(Amazing Kornyfone Record Label was the same company as Trade Mark Of Quality, so my thinking was on the right track!)

Note that the date given there is WRONG. That's *almost* the tracklist for the other Lyceum date 25.3.85 (One of the few times Some Kind Of Stranger was performed. It wasn't performed on the 24th.)
That tracklist is missing Emma (between Body Electric & Alice) and Gimme Gimme Gimme/Sister Ray isn't from that gig.

The presence of 2 filler tracks suggests they wouldn't have missed out Emma, so I bet it's there (The tracklist of the Wholy Ghost album I had had a very messed-up tracklist.), and the 2 filler tracks are April'84 as Gimme Gimme Gimme was only performed live 7 times, and only 4 of them exist on tape. I'll make an educated guess at New York Danceteria 13.4.84 as those 2 tracks were also released on an EP.
