Take a look around
At what technology was found
Is it what we need
Or are we killing the seed
Dictated by the screen
No more following your dreams
The world's becoming a difficult place to leave

C
Do do do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do, this is insania
Do do do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do, this is insania

Cloning will diverse
Ageing will reverse
Insanity is slowly, creeping into our lives, yeah
Where is yesterday, cause people ain't the same
Have we lost the faith or have we lost our minds
Where are we going
Does anyone care? Hold on to real love
There's so much to share

Repeat chorus (until bored)

All we need to do is get Von in a jungle with a barbie doll and perhapes he can create something this fantastic!!!!

Peter Andre called it "insania" from "insanity" and "mania". If he'd used the other halves of the words, it would have been "manity". A far better song title IMO.

Yeah, but he's obviously a genius, as 'insania' isn't in the dictionary........But you STILL know what it means!!!! Now that's clever!!!!

Yes. Almost is best: one's arse is always best kept about one's person.

But I am serious. NMA do it and it's a cutting indictment of the world we live in. Peter Andre does it and it is page 3 of the Metro.

Now personally, I'm with the Metro and your bottom on this one, because i think that mediocrity trying to make a serious point doesn't work (hence everyone laughing at it). But when my good (sadly departed) friend clucking belle said something similar about the fields of the nephilm his bottom took a kicking. Wearing black clothes doesn't validate mediocrity.

She stares at the screen, at the little words of green
Tries to do remember what to do next
There's a trace of frustration that crosses her face
Searching for the key she should press
And I would help her if I only know how
But these things are a mystery to me too
And it seems that the Corporate eyes they are watching
She fears for her job and the moments are passing
I stare at her nametag and I think to myself
Both you and I, we never asked for any of this

Do do do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do, this is insania
Do do do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do, this is insania

So let's take a walk up past the chemical works
Where the sky turns green at night
And we'll talk about getting away from here
Some different kind of life
But even in the freshest mountain air
The jet fighters practise overhead
And they're drilling these hills for uranium deposits
And they'll bury the waste for our children to inherit
And though this is all done for our own benefit,
I swear we never asked for any of this

Do do do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do, this is insania
Do do do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do, this is insania

(shalalala)

This golden age of communication
Means everyone talks at the same time
And liberty just means the freedom to exploit
Any weakness that you can find
Turn off the TV just for a while
Let us whisper to each other instead
And we'll hope that the Corporate ears do not listen
Lest we find ourselves committing some kind of treason
And filed in the tapes without rhyme, without reason
While they tell us that it's all for our own protection,
I swear we never asked for any of this
