Black Veil in Leeds

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I used to work with DJ De'ath (check out the Who section on the link if you don't know of him) a few years back & he told me about these nights he does but I've never been.
Are there any regular 'goers' here or anyone that's been at all ? How good is it ?

Cheers fella's & fellaresses.

I'm sure you can make room for a few beers  How far from the centre of Leeds is the Metropole Hotel?

oh dear!!! doesn't sound like a great hotel....

I've always stayed at the Comfort Inn when I've stayed in Leeds, and the greasey spoon cafe opposite for brekkers :)

watch this space for a hotel review later in April

I don't think the Metropole is that bad!
I used to go there one afternoon a month for a work meeting/thingy & the amount of free booze they used to supply us with was ridiculous!
Still, I've not actually stayed there so I'm talking rubbish.

Anyway, Veil tickets booked. The hype surrounding those bands seems to make it worth it.
