Howdy "Heatlanders"

In the UK there is a TV show called "Stars In Their Eyes" . The shows format allows members of the public and C celebs to "emulate" their favorite singers. The show relies on the performer sounding more like the artist than being a "look a like"

YOU can be who ever you want to be. I was wondering who would YOU choose to be.

AFAIK the show has never done "The Sisters"

I cant decide myself who I would do - any suggestions

The curtains open and the dry ice kicks in.....and NEVER EVER STOPS!!!!

be fun though...

Me...i'd do Fad Gadget as he is the only person I can sing like.....

Sunsets would have enjoyed last week's show. Don't tell him why. Then he'll have to talk to his chattering colleagues to find out.

one of the reasons i like eldritch is i have a similar singing voice, so i would have to do him. Not sure what song i would go for though.

Damn you man!
Tonight Matthew I'm going to be John Wetton when he sang and played bass with King Crimson early to mid 70s, now watch the ratings plummet!

I'm with Andy here. It's got to be Heinz. No anaemic Netto offerings for me.

Tonight, Matthew, I'm going to be........Jim Morrison.

Cue the smoke, the lights, the Hammond organ.......then two blokes in brown 'hardware shop'-style overalls come onto the stage with http://i22.ebayimg.com/02/i/01/2b/21/05_1.JPG mounted on the accompanying wheelbarrow and tip me out. I lie there in full beard regalia for 3 mins and then Matthew comes on and says, "Ladies and Gentlemen, Jim Morisson!" Hopefully Matthew would try to make conversation with my twistedly prone body, asking about my transformation from Deputy Headteacher to bloated corpse, before he grins towards camera 2 and the adverts start.

If this was the kind of telly on offer, I just might start paying my license fee.
