So many bootlegs but which is the best?

please name just ONE, CD or VINYL dosent matter,

When i mean the best,i t has a good at least sound quality
a proper artwork, and no mistakes (name of songs, dates etc)
dosen t matter if it has live stuff or demos
Hundreds of bootlegs exist, which is the best in your opinion

my choice:

Disguised in black (2lp newcastle 85)

Trans Europe Excess & Enjoy The Puppet Show are pretty fair quality, everything else I own are weeds, the best of them being Cologne 6-3-01 and Leeds 26-4-03, tops!

That´s a difficult question..

Hard to say THIS is the best bootleg ever.
It would be easier to make a top-five or top ten list...

But to answer your question:

I really like the "event horizon" bootleg because there are great versions of "kiss the carpet" and "romeo down" on it- two songs i love

Have to go for Black October, Brighton; Top Rank
Or Sister Ray: Detmold, with audience harrassment in fluent German from Von (did I just say that  ) although only 12 songs + a sort of encore of 3 songs from London, March '85. Recording quality isnt top notch, but still a gem IMHO! Also only 1000 copies on CD :(

Um? That wasn't very helpful was it? After reading your post properly Sunset, I shall go for the 1st choice. Good memories :D

Agree with SY, best overall package is disguised in black

Personal favourite is Testament of Ivar L (dusseldorf 1990)

Hand of God, a nice compilation of rare stuff in a very nice package.

Honourable mentions to Visions at the Forum, because I found it by chance and heard some of the new songs for the first time when I listened to it.

Dark Christmas In London (21.12.93 London, Brixton Academy) is a bloody excellent bootleg, if you consider the sound and the atmosphere of the gig.

I also like Disguised in Black and Silence is Platinum a lot, they are amongst my prized possessions. Also in there, though, is Return to Arkham 2LP, just because it's very nice to look at, and obviously a special concert.

Melkweg 84 - recently weeded by Markfiend. Absolutely fantastic quality and a reminder of what made me dig The Sisters in the first place.

mmmmm, Return to Arkham is good. Also liked Rough Diamonds a lot.

yeah it's missing Come Together, Ribbons, Flood II, This Corrosion and Vision Thing. I have obtained the missing tracks (from a different source) though.
