my dog on telly!!!

for those who live in the yorkshire region, my dog is going to be on "look north" (bbc1 from 6.30pm) in the next few days!
as myself and mrs qb are both out all day mon-fri we felt it was unfair on "fat lad" (as we call him - ironically i might add!) so we got him a dog walker - we use a small local company called "run around hound" - they're ace.
basically, this woman comes round every weekday dinner time and takes him for an hour's walk - usually around a local park/canal/etc - jake absolutely loves it!
and look north want to do a feature on "run around hound" - so she's going to be on tv, while walking jake
this is the "little" fella:

that was taken nearly a year ago, just after we'd got him from a rescue center - he's not quite as skinny these days
they're filming it on thursday, so i guess it will be shown either thursday or friday evening. if i find out for definite i'll post here - i'm sure you are all dying to know
be sure to watch it of you live in the region

We usually use a dog walker when we go away, cos since she'll also happily feed our two cats all for about 8 quid a day, it's much cheaper than kennels/ cattery. Will she be wearing a Heartland T-shirt? Just think of the publicity!

he's like a stealth dog - he sneaks into the room and lies at your feet while you aren't looking

Awwwww....soo cuuute........
I had my last dog for 16 years & for practical reasons can't get another. So I go all daft over everyone else's.
Sadly I receive the London regional programme, which consists of some bird standing about as they obviously thought it would add a more youthful edgy feel than sitting down like a normal person...
As for cats, I've had loads & still have two but you must remember that if they were big enough they would definitely torture you for an hour or two and then eat you. It's part of their charm.

That is a top dog!! Tho' judging by the size, our two would probably think it was a sofa.
BTW Harry Gration isn't involved is he? I think he interviewed some seals at Skegness once.

Just realised as we're on the Cambs/Lincs border we can pickup BBC North on the telly in the kitchen.
But as I don't get home until 7pm I was all set to have the following conversation with Mrs JB:
JB: "Can you the tape the BBC North news for me?"
Mrs JB: "Why ..?"
JB: "Quiff Boys dog is on the telly ..."
Guess I'll just have to wait until the tape comes up on the weeding section!

Dan wrote:My reasoning is that recording gigs requires a bit of skill, and there were less people taping gigs in the 80's (most of who knew what they were doing), whereas now every man and his dog is doing it.
Are we sure this program isn't secretly about canine bootleggers ..?

I think it's about time Mrs. Snowey got her own login. That avatar's not very flattering. And we need all the supporters we can muster. Didn't you read the smallprint? It is your pledge to introduce at least one new member a year.
