I've just noticed something...when I first log on I read the main page then scoot straight down to the Trash Bin to see if owt's been deemed unacceptable THEN enter General Chat proper.

I'm the same with the local rag too....front page headlines (usually 'Man pushes trolley into Witham horror!') then straight to the obituaries.

I always go straight for general then anything else if that's a bit dull!

i always hit the "View posts since last visit" and work my way through the threads, starting at the bottom.

unless anything's in the trash bin, in which case i have a look and se what paddy's been deleting now

I generally work my way up the fora from the bottom up (if there's new posts) and then threads from the bottom up. I usually open the fora and the threads in new windows to make things quicker, and end up with several quadrillion open windows

View posts since last visit, weeding, sisters chat, trading and maybe general chat if anything catches my eye. The trash bin is always good for a laugh on a sunday morning or even viewing posts early on a sunday before the mods have woken up. Something about alcohol and 2am makes people slightly more 'expressive'.

But on the whole most of what appears on general chat goes of topic very quickly and becomes a slanging match/flirting match/two way conversation.*

Very little of any substance seems to be discussed anymore.

Won't post on the proper thread but 'currently listening' to Rosklide '98 at 320/kbs and for all you mp3 phobics (as I am) this is high quality (why? because it even passed my doorstep) this is the 'dogs balls'. Am I listening in Flemish? No, I'm bouncing. And that's nice.

Being MacCentric, I come in (oo-er missus) via the e-mail route and then kinda root about.

I just look at the pictures

I open my PM's first - if I have any - after which I open each section with "recent posts" in a seperate browser window allowing me to update threads while reading another.
