i heard pat's solo album a few days ago "reflect on this" and i wasn't too impressed. i guess i was hoping that it would sound a bit like floodland which is silly since andrew wrote floodland and not her... right?
the thing that strikes me most though is the title "reflect on this". you guys think it has something to do with lucretia my reflection? that theres some humor there?
anyone know why pat left the band?
i'm thinking about getting the sisters logo, the head and the star.
this most be the best looking board i've seen, very neat i must say!

quite possibly she was trying to be ironic, i heard her and the good von didn't split on the best of terms, as usual
(think - god's own medicine, anyone?¿?¿

)
i haven't heard it, nor do i think i want to really...
as for the tattoo thing, yeah i almost got that one myself, along with the names of the band members (at the time) around it, luckily/unluckily the guy wouldn't touch me as i was pissed as a lord, ho hum...
forgot to mention, the tattoo studio was owned by the legendary (well, in leicester, anyway) porkbeast!!! ex/current/ex/current/ex bass player from crazyhead...

Yeah, why not. From what I read she had a wicked sense of humour
Left? Read sacked
According to legend, she thought that £800 per month wasn’t enough as a partner of the band. Eldo promptly sacked her, with the stolen one-liner “All I need is somebody who looks cool with a low slung base something like that anyway. When Tony arrived she said she wanted nothing more to do with the band even though Eldo, presumably offering a pay rise? Asked her back.
“It’s scam time
A tattoo hmmmmmmm,
Why not wait for the next single to come out, and get the artwork done. That way, at last you’ll have a few more years to think about it before committing.

i heard it last week - me' old mucker lars brought it round...
hmmm.
not fantastic, but not as appaling as it could have been.
odd that all she does is sing on it - no bass playing. what does that suggest..?
shame her voice isnt all that brilliant. sounds a little forced at times, and the production is a bit of a nod to floodland-era sisters, as are the song & album titles ("reflect", "reflect on this" respectively)
there are also a few psuedo-goff sound effects (chanting, brooding synth noises etc) that sound a little cheesy now, but maybe back then sounded ok. guess you have to place it in context

??:
wasnt too impressed to be honest - felt a little awkward listening to it - like i should turn it down in case the neighbours heard! which is not a good sign...
still, bless her. she tried

from some half arsed interview she gave...
Roger McShane - I was curious as to how your work relations were with the ever lovely Andrew Eldritch. Did you ever recieve any type of royalty for working in the Sisters or were you screwed over?
Screwed over. Mr. "I'm not a goth" did the same thing to me as to everyone else. His last words to me were 'You are of no further use to me'. Whatta guy. What the heck: Now here's something I've told very few people till now. Mr. "I'm not a goth" was very jealous of Mr. Vanian. Nothing to do with me at all I must add. He thought our Mr. Vanian had great looks and a wonderful voice. (stating the obvious) He said he had neither and got really upset. I was very sympathetic at the time. I'm not now. As I have not seen him for many years he could pass me in the street and I wouldn't know him. I like that thought.

that is a very interesting question...

"wonder if pat and andrew were ever sexually involved...?"
Erm...I'd kinda always *assumed* that that was the case! Guess I'm a bit presumptuous, eh? Egads.

I have to say that what ive picked up over the years would generally indicate that he is not a very popular man with most people, but it think a lot of the time to achieve goals you have to be the kind of person who has "bigger things to think about" and as a result end up upsetting a lot of people.
That said i know people who know him and like him, but they are in minority. As far as im aware, Tim Bricheno never had a big falling out.... and Tony James speaks about him in a friendly manner.
I managed to say hello at the York anniversary gig and he was very pleasant about The Smurphs..... unless it was sarcasm....

What Tony James had to say (From the Sputnik webby)
"You know I always really liked Eldritch , one of the few people in this business who always kept in touch... we had wild times and adventures, but this was his baby.. I became more and more isolated and in the end I didn't care about the Sisters and he rightly read that and we agreed we couldn't continue....."
Quite fair i reckon...

Hey, more free advertising, Paddy!
Doubt if anyone is interested though...

"Liked me? He never liked me!"
Guess the quotes, people, and prove somebody out there loves me.
