It's Only Rock 'n' Roll

Last Saturday I went to see The Smurphs.
There was no dry ice, no explosions and no drum solo, but plenty of guitars.

Earlier on this evening I went to see Busted.
There was dry ice, lots of explosions and a five-minute bloody drum duet, and lots of guitars.

Which was more Rock 'n' Roll, and why? Discuss.

PS I did wear my Motorhead t-shirt to the Busted gig. The man on the door said it was 'cool.'

This, of course, was never in any doubt.
Mind you, that's not what this is about.

There was a smoke machine by Paddy's head.

You possible mistook it as steam coming out of his ears!
