Your most treasured possession

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Have we done this one before? I don't think so. Anyway, here goes.

Mine is a Danbury Mint "The Fantasy Of The Crystal" chess set. Beautiful wooden board and exquisite pewter pieces each with its own little crystal ball. The pieces came bi-monthly in twos. The plan was that by the time I had the full set, Junior would be old enough to play. Unfortunately, once I'd got half of them, they sent me the rest in one go, though I still only had to pay for them as previously agreed. Consequently, I hadn't properly prepared Junior for the occasion, but, of course, he insisted we have a game immediately they all arrived. I've never been one for patronising him, and he felt the loss deeply. We rarely play, even now, but it looks great on the corner table in our dining room and allows Mrs T to give full rein to her dusting fetish. I would like to think that once he's left home, we'll play by email and I'll use it to map out our intellectual battle of wills.
Go to sleep now, Francis.

King Crimson - Larks Tongues In Aspic 30th anniversary edition CD, one of those Japanese numbers they do so well, where the recreate the sleeve in cardboard at CD size. No extra tracks. but impeccible sound and a sleeve insert. My mate Yoon bought it in Ft. Lauderdale 2 years ago as a pressy for me.:D

My Buffalo boots - madly collecting more as they have gone out of business & they are the only groovy things that I can wear on my poor afflicted feet.

My costume jewellery collection- intrinsically worthless but beautiful. I like sparkly things.

Good book that.
