Creative thoughts please........

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hiya

Have finally taken the plunge and handed in my notice (and indeed am off the payroll as of yesterday).

All is coming together, however one small piece of the jigsaw is incomplete- I need a company name asap to cover the legalities...

Mrs Zuma has suggested Motherf*cker as a possibility, but somehow I suspect we need something a little more sensible

So any thoughts out there about what we can call a software/hardware company are welcome!

(I know I'm setting myself up here for some serious leg pulling which will be interesting anyway - meantime really could do with some input.....)

Danke

I'm with sunsets; you need a hairdresser-style quality of pun....

From Soft to Hard ?

Failing that, a Random Colour and a Random Animal or a Random Colour and a Random Fruit.

Sorry Z, really need more info about what makes your company 'special' or as us advertising types in the 80s called it, your USP.
I am interested, really, I do a bit of that old designing stuff to earn a crust, to do something that wasn't the day job, sounds cool.

regards
Blast

Thank you Mr Blast!

I know, I was setting myself up there and also looking for input, so no offence taken.

The tricky bit about the USP (and there is one..) is that I cannot divulge that at this point, but I do have to get the name sorted out quickly.

Anyway, first round is on me whatever....

Cheers

As I'm sure I've said before: remember, no kissing on the mouth. It's so unprofessional.

Unique Selling Point. ;)

How about just calling your company something random; you can always change the company name later.

Zuma Promotions? (trading as meerkats unlimited)

;D

Actually nicking a Sisters monicker might work. Perhaps Von will then rush into the studio and whack out an album in 48 hours to protect the name?
Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,

Can always say that the Faithless 'Reverence' album instigated the idea.

If nothing else it will get you closer to the top on an alphabetical search/phone book.
