How can this happen?

SATURDAY 10th JULY
Stereophonics
The Pixies

Pixies support a bad, three piece, retro-rock, pub band from Wales?

I think not.

Would't be the first time I'd left after the support act...

The Move Festival will be a fine place to see The Cure. Saw REM at last years - twas very ace. The place is smaller than you'd imagine, so there was a good view of the stage no matter where you stood / sat.

That said, what's a festival without a campsite, or some grass to crash on (as it were)? If the main festivals don't buck their ideas up with the bills, it's looking odds on for another trip to Amsterdam instead this summer.

i saw elbow when they supported placebo..very average band. Really dumb haircuts...then again the kind of band youd expect to be seen with the cure

Putting the Pixies on before the Stereophonics, and Elbow on beforee the Cure, is surely the stupidest thing in the history of the world.

In fact, it's so ridiculous that I can only assume it was due to a secretary's typo; ie I'm sure it was meant to be Elbow with the 'fonics.

got nowt against Elbow (I can't name a single one of their tunes) and I actually think the fonics are better than most of you lot give 'em credit for, but still...

it SUCKS! I wanna see the Cure and the Pixies, so I'm gonna have to pay 60 pounds, plus the 40 pound booking fee and 25 for postage.

Just heard that Goldfrapp have been added to the bill 4 the Stereophonics/pixies. So that's an extra reason to go!

Last year I got sick and so couldn't see Queen Adreena.
lying in bed while me mates were moshing away was the worst night of me life. :(

Just to add add insult to injury (literally), I gave me ticket to a mate to sell to a tout, hopefully get me money back...
Me mate managed to haggle a tout into giving her the princely sum of 2 pounds for it.

It's a shame the Cure aren't playing with either the Rapture or Interpol, (as they are in America) bands that they have at least something musically in common with. Elbow are sooooooooooo dull.
