Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Is rather delicish - tell me more

I saw a video installation at the Tate Modern late last year with stuff like this - stunning visuals and sound.

There was also another fabbie vidinstal of a Japanese girl dressed in sci-fi gear (all silvery and lycra) playing with a big glass ball in her hands singing a delightful chant type thing. She was sat in an airport.

I love seeing stuff like this in galleries but I MUST write stuff down.....

It's a still from Five Angels For The Millenium by Bill Viola. And yeah, I say it at the Tate Mod last October and was totally blown away by it. 5 screens in a dark room. Each screen has a person rising from the water and each represent an angel. I could have sat in the room for hours, it touched something very deep in my subconcious. The sound of the water made it awesome. Bill Viola has been making video art for years, and it's superb.

I saw the Japanse girl installation as well, but I don't know anything about it.

Have you been to the Saatchi Gallery?
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.

Nah...I'm always limited to what I can get me bloke to go to....it was a struggle to get him into Tate Modern...but once he found this room he was hooked.

Thanks so much for the info, I will endeavour to remember it now
