Oh. That would be
this geezer as well then?.
Has anyone managed to get hold of this? I tried last year but they had to cancel my order in the end. Which might be just as well cos if it's just the discography and not the biography as well, I wouldn't really be interested.

He also got into a fight with AE and after that he sold his sisters collection, that what I have been told.

I was corresponding a bit with Andrew while he was working on the discography and he sent me a preview leaflet of it. It looked amazingly well done. For some reason I never thought he actually got it together and published it. He never mentioned it after the leaflet-thing and I never saw it in the stands. He was at the Reptile House Ltd at the time. Great bloke. Haven't spoken to him in 12 years though.

I talked to Andrew a few times - sent him some stuff for his Sister's collection around 1991 and I got the 2 books he put out. I thought they were pretty well done and I liked them but apparently AE thought otherwise. Said that he felt he'd been misrepresented or something.

He is probaby still mates with James ray as James Ray had a lot of hearlands books for sale in his merchandise when he toured in the mid 90s.

If i am not mistaken Pinnell organised some gigs / tour for James Ray, helped with the release of the the Slaveking release and i'm sure James Ray moved down to the Warminster area which is where Pinnell lived at the time.

He sold his entire Sisters collection to Robin and went on to play cricket for his county.

I have heard about that particular trade as well... is it really true? If so... no wonder Robin has got some really rare stuff in his collection..

Some information on Andrew J Pinnell that you may or may not know : I contacted him when h/land 1 came out and stayed in touch all the way through to the end! eg:the anothologies and the discography(he used all my info from mine). The discography never got published by the original publisher as they had links with East/West/WEA and were very pissed it had bootleg info! His stuff as far as i know went to Uncle Sister in Belgium and some maybe to Mark Woodley???? Yep he did have a fall out with Mr.E and lost heart!! according to him.Has anybody seen hard copy of the book on Amazon? as the publisher is interesting maybe???.He did indeed get into James Ray etc.I lost touch years ago but yeah he did have the corrosion demos quite a few versions i'm told????
