UTR - Letters published?

Was wondering if any of you lovely people ever had a letter published in 'Underneath the Rock'? (I'd have tried, but the fanzine folded before I even got into the greatest band in the world!)

If so, how about pasting your letter (and it's response from Von!) here?
I'd love to know.

Thanks

I did. I wish I'd kept the magazine but we moved and it's gone. I wrote a `nice` letter and he wrote back that I was wonderful and we should get together for dinner sometimes. I was quite pleased.

Cool! Thanks! Found it - UTR #06 - page 9.

His reply to my note:

Dear Claire,
How wonderful you are. Maybe we should get together for dinner. At least it would annoy everyone in this Correspondence Thing who believes that being controversial necessarily attracts more attention. I'm sure the editor would thank you fulsomely if I had left him enough space to do so.

I did. It was part of the debate arising from the time some scumbag sent a copy of some neo-nazi propaganda in.

It was in UTR X (I think).

(nostalgic sigh) Definitely the high point of my highly overexcitable teens.

Yeah, unfortunately it's in storage with the rest of my stuff.
Months from now it may suddenly appear here.

As promised, months later - my letter from UTR 14
Had to type in a part of this for zaltys7 under the "Who should Sisters duet with?" thread, but decided, mainly due to length of Eldritch's reply, that it would be far better scanned.
Will edit this with the URL once QB gets round to posting the scans.

Horrible "brown nosing" on my part by the way, but I was a lot younger back then!
