Okay, I did indeed get to the other end, and it seemed to taste the same. Thank you all for helping me navigate this unfamiliar issue. I know that opening a bag of crisps at the wrong end is good luck, but I was worried there might be bad karma coming on the egg front.

If you freeze CCE's then slice them with a sharp knife, you can lick them like lollies......well for all of five mins then they go gooey.
