Hi all,
This is my first post here!
Anyway, I was wondering, does anyone have a copy of the cover Eldritch did of Simple Minds' New Gold Dream '81 '82 '83 '84 with Utah Saints. It's one of the very few songs that Eldritch has sung that I don't have at least one copy of, and I've been trying to find one for years.
I do know that some copies do exist. If anybody has one and wishes to trade, then let me know.

Hi, welcome!
Dan from this board recorded the most common version of the gig in circulation and has also made an MP3 of New Gold Dream
I've got a copy shared on Soulseek, and there might also be one on the Yahoo Groups?

There's been interesting development...
I posted a message about the problem to that Yahoo group and I just got a reply from Yahoo saying my membership status has been changed from Member to Owner!
OWNAGE!!!
Still, I can download it now and I'll see if there's anything I can do to help everyone else download these files.

EDIT: I'm probably not the only 'owner', but I think that if anyone has problems, they should just send a message to the group and they'll get upgraded as well.

The only version. Well, I've yet to find another.
It was only performed that one time. A shame the recording is so bad. A combination of my tape recorder being a bit cr
appy and the T+C having such poor acoustics.
Gimme 25 min-or-so and I'll upload it.
EDIT: or then again you seem to have solved the problem so I needn't bother now.

Yep, it's very good although Von seems to have made the common mistake of mishearing "siren and the ecstacy" as "silenter than ecstacy".
Tut tut!
Napalm God
EDIT: Well, it's certainly better than no recording at all. You have done well.

The La Costa Raza set was sh*t that day.
I suspect they had been next door in the wine bar all day. Most unprofessional....

Arrrgh! I've been rumbled - so much for the Dark Side clouding everything!
Dominion has been very stale lately, so I thought I'd check out the alternatives.
Very good.
