Does anyone know what he's upto at the minute?

His news section on his site re-directs to a Spanish site & I can't understand a bloody word.

I'd consider *lack of site updates due to forgotten ftp password* an honest enough statement :innocent:

I may have missed this, but there is a review of Chris Starling's solo record up at www.nme.co.uk - I found it by running a search for the sisters name there. The link is:

"may have missed this, but there is a review of Chris Starling's solo record"

Both his solo records ( planet painkiller and soundslike Chris Starling) got great reviews . It's different from the sisters but the music an lyrics are great. kinda gives you an idea of what the man realy wanted to do..
in that perspective it's not a surpirse he's not with the sisters anymore..

That sounds strange. Can you imagine some day opening the Sisters homepage and reading: Andrew Eldritch is recording ;D

Indie guitar stuff with this 1991 release on Dave Stewart’s Anxious label. New Zealand musician Chris Sheehan , along with drummer Barry Blacker and bass player Matt Parkin produced these love songs ,ever so slightly tinged feedback that feel like a midway between Jesus and Mary Chain and Primal Scream. A four tracker with the baggy dance of “Please Stay the stand out track for me all live precussion. More snarling vocals abound with the lead track “The Angels Share reminding me of the Pixies. “Thames Eternal sounds New Orderish with the fuzzy feedback giving a unique , grungy sound! The title track whispers semi acoustically but is over far too quickly, so loads of Pigeon Holing going on!!

In July 2013, Sheehan announced through Fundrazr that he was suffering from incurable cancer (Stage 4 metastatic nodular melanoma)
The single cover is a clicky to netkups in case anyone wants to hear
