Two drug dealers, dubbed "the world's dumbest drug dealers" by police and media after handing out leaflets advertising their illegal trade, are to appear in the Hillbrow magistrate's court on Monday on charges of drug possession and drug dealing.

The men, one in his 20s and the other in his 30s, were arrested after a member of the public tipped off a newspaper about the flyers and they contacted the police.

The flyers read: "For any stuff of drug please call this number below. ...Ask for Mike."

Detectives set a trap and arrested two men during a sting operation.

A suitcase containing various narcotics was confiscated.
