what's the best version of crash and burn?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

what's the best version of crash and burn, both in terms of performance (ie: it rocks like a bastard) and quality (ie: say a certain dj wanted to play a version at a certain up and coming special party... :innocent: )? :?:

also, while i think about it, anyone got creaming jesus' "temple of shite" on cd or mp3?

at the time I thought the version they played in Deinze a few years back rocked most....
unfortunately
a)I never found a boot of that gig
b)the gig itself was crap, due to the most passive audience I ever witnessed.....
the metal guitars on the other hand were :droolsmiley:
shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather....

I still think, the premiere of the song at M'era Luna 2000 was the most impressive performance of that song. Image

Must admit, I side with the M'era Luna 2000 version.
