It's day number five by my reckoning, thirty-five to go.
It you haven't started building that boat and contacting the local zoos you better get a move on!

Flood warnings have already been issued in the North East (of Scotland - that rocky bit of land above England).

It stopped raining just before I left work.

It stayed dry while I was on the bus.

But the very second I got off the bus and started the 3 minute walk to my front door...

Bastard weather.

We've been having very mild winters recently and the dams are at an all time low :? Our summer this year wasn't that great either

Well I live in Ireland but the whole general thing is pretty much the same. Up in the high 20s most of last week, pissing down rain and freezing my butt off ever since. But we get this every summer anyway so it's no real big deal.

I haven't got room for all the beetles. Two each of over 400000 species?

Yes, but tennis-heads deserve all they get. Especially the "Hen-maniacs"

And the Lawn Tennis bods are STILL going um and ahh about putting a cover over the centre court. Perhaps someone ought to send them a letter:

Dear LTA

BRITISH SUMMER = RAIN. LOTS OF IT.

LOTS OF RAIN = EVEN MORE REFUNDS

MORE REFUNDS = LESS MONEY FOR YOU TO SPEND SUPPORTING GRASS ROOTS TENNIS

oh hang on, they don't really do the last bit do they?
