Blaming foreigners, in my experience.

Being surprised when a team which has been ranked in the lower reaches of the World top 10 pretty much from the first-ever world rankings loses in the last eight of a major tournament.

Being surprised when a similarly-ranked tennis player loses in the last eight of a major tournament.

Failing to grasp that we're not bad at most things, but will seldom be world-beaters in anything.

Rowing.

I beg to disagree...the Brits are rubbish at complaining i.e actually stating that they are dissattisfied with stuff/treatment to the right people. What we EXCEL at is whittering about it and yes whingeing about it to the wrong people.

How many times do you hear people in restaurants chuntering about the service or the food when only to blush and go 'mmmnnn yes everything's fine' when the waiter comes up midway through their meal.....

No, the Brits are pap at complaining.

We do lead the world in queuing though!

What Pie Shop? Brown's Pie Shop in Lincoln (in snooty 'uphill' area). Reknowned it is, for it's most excellent of pies. However, I won't eat in there any more.....since the scandal of 10 years ago .... dog poo pie was the order of the day

I forgot about making jokes about the Jairmans.

I'm off for a game of snooker while you play the flyer. Give me a shout when the turn comes on.

It's probably just me but I rarely have the vaguest idea what Thrash is talkin about.
