Heartland

To my great shame I didn’t know the band until Saturday morning.
I went to the Graspop M.M. festival and they played that afternoon.
From what I could make from the information at the little info book that I got when I arrived I thought I would like them.
As I said I never heard from them before but the Gig was one of the best ones I have ever seen, they totally got me going and the crowd went crazy after only a few songs.
Are there any other Oomph fans over here, I’m downloading a few songs at the moment but I would love to buy a record if I can find one. Are there any someone could recommend?

....and to say Oomph started out earlier than Rammstein

Something Richard from Rammstein once said in an interview, something like...

"I feel kinda bad for the guys [Oomph]... they even the road for us for about ten years, then we jump right over them, get rich and famous, and then everyone goes like 'oooh, look at that band Oomph, they are real Rammstein-clones' "

I guess that goes for a thousand of bands all over the world really

Still, Oomph are great. So is Rammstein.

I hear they inspired a lot of bands and I can see why.
At first they played a lot of Rammstein like songs but they convinced me there was more to them then the Rammstein approach. (loud, hard, fast and Fire ) I’ll probably go see them again on the Dour festival, KMFDM plays as well and I think they are worth to see as well.
As for the rest of the festival Izzytje.
It was great; only too bad we didn’t saw the whole Alice Cooper show.
Motörhead was super, You could see Lemmy had lots of fun.

I hear you ware in Leeds pal, and sounds like you have made a rather Good impression on the English peeps.
Next time I’ll go along.

Nice music, nice lyrics, nice at all hehe... I think they rule and make all times a good show...

saw them years ago on ozzfest in germany... rocks!!
