i have most of his/their stuff on vinyl, but have been looking for a copy of "dust boat" on cd (or mp3 at push)

has anyone got either the "A New Kind of Assassin" album or the "Best of James Ray's Performance and Gangwar" album on cd? (were they ever released on cd?)

the nearest thing i can find to a useful discograhy are these:

Dust Boat is available on two different CD's. I have them both. One is that best of-compilation New Kind of Assassin, that came out decades ago. A nice-looking, good-sounding product that unfortunately is missing a few b-sides, like Johnny Goodbye.
The second one, which I bought when the first one got scratched, is the exact same record plus Dios Esta De Nuestro Lado baked into one. This one looks like a poorly made bootleg, cheap and photocopied and I will have to check who released it. It should be easier to get hold of.
I have never seen the singles Another Million Dollars or Destination Assasination on CD... or was that the same single? I'm thinking of two singles. Anyway, it's a damn pity.

Okay, got it: the first album A New Kind of Assassin seems to be released through Merciful Release in 1989. The second one, with Dios Esta Etc., is from Fifth Column.
Other than that Dust Boat was never released on CD.

The second single I was reaching for is Without Conscience. Destination Assassination is the b-side.

i might have tracked down a cheap-ish copy of the first album on cd, from the states

Another Million Dollars was released on 12" vinyl only. Without Conscience b/w Destination Assassination was released on both 12" and CD (I have both!)

Yup, and very good it is too! There was also a book he wrote to accompany the album. It isn't very good.
