I'm with Paddy on this one. My son's converted me. I even appreciate his vocals now. Finally, a successful, contemporary, British geetar god for him to follow. And a bassist who doesn't just shadow the 6 string. No doubt the drummer's a bit nifty as well. Pulling out of T in the park? Looks like it was a good job I didn't go for father-of-the-year award and buy tickets then, as I was seriously considering at one point.

Don't listen to 'em Pads. After seeing the fantastic set they did at Glasto I am now a total convert. Absolutely blew me away and I'm currently downloading the entire gig from alt.binaries.mpeg.video.music as I type. Will burn to DVD for anyone interested. Might take me a while though, haven't done a DVD for ages and can't remember what to do.

@ Francis - Nice comments!!! It is good to see a new British band innovating again.... one of the good thisng we do in this country is aoccasionally knock out exciting new exports like MUSE. The guitar hero side is a welcome bonus.... i love Matt Bellamys guitar work!! and as you say, solid driven bass.... rocks!

@ DerekR - Oh if i listened to this lot about my musical tastes ide be long gone by now. Glad you saw em at Glasto.... sadly im not getting to see them one way or another agin tis year..... DVD you say :)

Sadly only on the telly  Still, was bloody good.

I'm working on the DVD. Got all the files, just need to unpack everything and fire up some authoring software. Shouldn't be too big a job, hopefully.

Dammit! The video and audio are out of sync by a fraction of a second. It's not much but it's noticeable. Nothing I can't fix though, just means it will take longer. Ach well, I wasn't doing much else tonight anyway...

The end result will be worth it. The whole set, uncut, with no on-screen logos and a stunning picture and sound quality. Honestly, this could be an official release, it's that good :D

Might even do a menu, if I can be arsed.
