Gott In Hemmel!!!!!

It Is I - the one the only "Andy The Goth"!

Back hear to Please, Tease and Take The P***! ;D

Evening All!

So apart from the "Meet Up" what else have I missed?

You may (or may not) be wondering where I have been been.

Well Ebay has taken very much of my time - I plan to start to selling very soon.

The other, and much more important is that I am now in training !

Mrs Goth brother - who recently moved to this part of South Wales is a Martial Arts Instructor - Hence I have stared training in Dragon Kempo Katate, Ju Jitsu and Nin Jit Su! - In just a year I will be "FOOKIN HARD!"

So what have I missed ? - Any "NEWS" from Von/The Sisters

Any "Matches, Batches or Dispatches"?

Any news would be choice!

Laters

Welcome back Andy. :D

Sorry to hear about your eBay addiction. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to healing yourself.

How are you enjoying your martial arts training? I used to practice Shotokan Karate a few years back...

Hey Andy!

You can't fool me. I'm a Wiltshire boy. I know when the lambing season ends!

Your absence was noted. I for one was very concerned that JB was really a mad axe-murderer.

Thankfully I didn't read this on my birthday. Or when I was in your house. With your family.

Thank Yoyu One and All for you messages of Greeting - Each has been duly noted and the invoices will be paid in due course! ;-)

On a serious note (as if!) Ebay is a fastinating place - its far more involved and complicated "selling" the just simply buying!

The stuff they "wont" let you sell makes interesting reading.

Thanks again and I will grace you with my "witty comments" sooners rather than later!

Its only 3 days a week - with a day off inbetween to "recover"

The "Technical Training" is great ! - Its the "Physical Training" that the killer.

Did you ever have to do a "Roman Seat" or a prolonged "Crucifix" pose or "Isometric Horse Stance"

I have been exercising parts of my body that even the best lager in the world cannot reach! ;-)

Zen - Pah ! - I dont even have a CBT let alone ride a "Motorcycle"

The calming part is great but its the outright brutal voilence that i really like ;-)!

welcome AndyTheGoth.
Very nice to have you back again.
I don't have alot of experience with the whole Martial Arts stuff, it sounds like fun but I'm afraid I don't bend the ways i would have to.
as for the sisters or Von I don't think there's alot of news to talk about.

Ah, it's all coming back to me now.

Yes, I remember aching in places where I didn't even know I had places...

Prolonged kiba dachi / horse stance was a killer. Likewise for neko ashi dachi (cat stance - all the weight goes on one leg).

I recall thinking our instructor was tough until the quarterly training courses with one of the Japanese Sensei came round (Masao Kawasoe: http://www.shotokan.co.nz/KawasoeAbout.html). A lot of emphasis on getting the basics right (100 front kicks...... then the same with the other leg!).....
