Please note the typo here from amsterdam boy. The last two words were meant to read "a/c anal".

Nice one Sir. If you read this in time, my recommendations, assuming you're off to have a smoke, are

De Kuil, De Dampkring, and Dolphins. You can find them on the Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory website. I buy from Dampkring, loiter there for a while, then shove loads in the Volcano vapouriser in De Kuil. After that, the RLD is strictly a window-shopping experience.

No point wishing you a fine time, it's impossible NOT to have one in that fair city.

Hmmm, you've planted a rapidly germinating seed, Mr Fiend. :notworthy:

I'm back now. Didn't fall into any canals (or a/c anals ) Nor did I get stopped by customs on the way back (which is probably for the best :innocent:)

Had a day out to Den Haag to look at an Escher exhibition. Did a bit of shopping at Waterlooplein market. Found a decent coffee shop just off the Leidseplein called "Rokerij". Didn't do much else other than smoke, eat and drink.

A good relaxing holiday ;D

Hope you had a good time.. when i went, the gang wouldn't let me go to the museum of torture.

now you're back, can you make me a 'ruefully shaking head' emoticon for msn?

ps this has nothing to do with, and is not a conment on, your holiday. i just need to use one, often.

xxxxxx

Nice one! I just came back from the Dam recently too and I'm missing it badly. Christ I LOVE that city. Did much the same things as yourself, plus a few others  :innocent: Sounds like you did more of the cultural stuff that I've been trying to convince my family that I did too, instead of the seedy pursuits I actually went for...Got any photos of museums etc that I can borrow? hehe

Sod it, I'm going back for Christmas. Flights from Leeds/Bradford for £1 on Dec 23rd :notworthy:
