Good to see you in chat again Slicey
I got this one out and worried somewhat after the Ring had blown my socks off..... but this is a really good film
More of a Thriller up till the end... very creepy but not overplayed. Loved it!
Anyone seen Audition

Well, I haven't really been away - although I recommend anyone with 5.1 Surround Sound to check out the "Tommy" DVD - preferably at high volume.
Capricorn One on the TV and I'm typing this in bed on the laptop courtesy of WIFI - one has to keep amused during periods of artistic drought.

Yes. I hardly ever get scared by films (apart from some documentaries of course) but this one is indeed terrifying. It's so terrifying I start to regret having watched it.

Eraserhead?
I saw that and I have to admit I didn't understand a great deal of it(of anything
), or was that the point?
Or was there a story and I missed it?

Wierdigan Man meets Wierdigan Woman, they give birth to a worm. I've never made it to the end of the film yet so I think that is the basic premise.
The worm-child is too disturbing.
I love David Lynch's stuff though.
