Bit of a bugger for Chanderpaul; 97 not out in the second innings.

The Windies aren't what they used to be but Brian Lara is still wonderful to watch. Ashley Giles' 5 for 81 wasn't to be sneezed at.
Aaah Cricket ... what would I be without it.

Aaaargh! I've spent the last few days beeing subjected to hour upon hour of this hideously tedious sport (I live with two cricket obsessives.)

I escape into the world of MyHeartland for a bit of respite... AND FIND YOU TALKING ABOUT THE SODDING CRICKET!!!!!!

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for the Windies. Their Anglo-Carribean supporters seem to have deserted them a bit too. There's a story there, no doubt, about the replacement of England by America as the most important external cultural influence for many Carribean people. But me, I just miss the dancing women.
