So, what will it be like? I have never seen them before, and barely heard them. Don't like hardrock, but a friend asked if I wanted to join him.

Well?

They are fantastic live. Great lighting and they are loud. I don't mean they are loud, I mean they are LOUD.....

Hawkwind are good live. First time I saw them they had Arthur Brown singing for them and he was wearing a suit made of baking foil :?

Don't they just play Ace Of Spades over and over again, safe in the knowledge that no-one dare complain about it?

I've always thought of Motorhead as a Metal version of the Pistols - more attitude than talent. It's works when you're 19, but not when you're over 40.

my mate's band ("groop dogdrill") supported them a couple of years ago and he said he was nearly deafened by them while backstage
