Hey, E.T is on the phone

According to the magazine New Scientist a telescope in Puerto Rico has picked up a so far unexplainable radio signal from some star or other, at three separate occasions.

I wonder if Jodie Foster is informed. Could be time to make that jump into hyper space.

Funnily enough, I run the SETI@home screensaver, which is the distributed-processing whojamitz that actually discovered the signal (if it really is a signal) in the billions of Terabytes that the Arecibo Observatory generates.

It wasn't my SETI@home client that found the signal though. :evil:
