Troissoeur!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Always forgot to mention these guys, but since Rein from Troissoeur became 30 last Saturday, I decided to mention the band here at last.

Troissoeur are a band from Kessel, near Lier, my hometown for the mo.

They are good friends (almost family) of Sam, our bass player with the Avatar (also for the mo, details about THAT will soon follow).

They signed with EMI (which is a coup de force on its own already!) and deserve to sell their albums BIG TIME!

'coz they are so good, of course ;-)

They play a mix between folk and pop, calling it Ambient Acoustic Pop. Produced by Daniel B (from Front 242 fame!), the new cd is a little gem, a crossbreed between folk, Radiohead and the new Anathema.

Check them out here: www.troissoeur.be and say happy burfdi Rein in the guestbook ;-)

Cheerz,

IZ.
