Tiffany's grab-a-granny night. Worked for me in 1986.
Edit: need a slash.

Ooh, can I come?
All I need is a time and a (reasonably easy to find) place

Not sure of the how and why, collapsed under the weight of blood and teeth possibly, though it's not exactly a loss. Until you start to consider where the clientele might move on to...

I'd come too, only I'm monstrously hung-over courtesy of the boss yesterday afternoon and evening
It's alright for him, he can skive off whenever he wants

I take it the night continued for a bit after the lightweights like myself went home then?
Quiffy, Jansenclone and Dave R - it was an honour and a pleasure to meet you guys and I hope we can do it again sometime. Made a stranger in a strange city feel very welcome. Cheers lads.
...and yes, I did make it up at 5am this morning

Cheers! I should imagine it wouldn't be too hard to do that again, it doesn't usually take much to get us to the pub! Even if the pub makes certain moderator types come over all confused about the difference between putting things in their pocket to take home with them and leaving them behind on the seat...
