No sir. But I am going to see Magne from A-ha play live on Thursday night in Nottinghill. I never in my whole life thought that would happen....until now.

time PWEI cranked up their brand of very metal noise pollution
@Almiche V your PF avatar, you do relise they actually laid all those beds out, no photo or Photoshop trickery was involved

Yes that's what I heard, but I don't believe them. How did they move all of those beds before the tide did? I'm also sceptical about their flying inflatable pig being an "accident".

I have Hipgnosis' first 2 books and they are pretty candid about what was involved in all their sleeve designs, accidents, found effects and one that involved an electric cooker!

They do some great work. Momentary Lapse is my fave PF cover. I'm not sure what the significance of the maid is though, apart from a pun on 'made the bed'. Other puns could be 'river bed' and 'flying over bed' !

a real return to form as well, after the patchy Wall and it's subsequent outakes and rejects - The Final Cut, first tour I saw them on too, Maine Rd. IIRC
Is There Anbody Out There? - The Wall Live is a much better affair than the studio album

To quote Life of Brian - "Ooo you lucky b*st*rd"
Did you have the bed flying over you? And there's a fantastic piece of film for Signs of Life.
@Gripper - sorry mate, need to get to 'grips' with this staying on topic lark.

No, do go on, be my guest etc.
If anyone feels like doing the Neds thang, I'm sure they'll pipe up eventually.

Just as a matter of interest...I absolutely LOVED the single 'Stuck' which I think was one of their last ones...about 1995??
I've honestly not heard anything else by 'em...is this representative of their other stuff...or not?
I've been tempted by their greatest hits which came out in last year or so...but not sure...
Anybody help?????

Stuck was off their last album, not there best by most people's accounts. Godfodder had a much more angry, raw sound

still, he was pissed and it was matchday up the Mol, so who knows...
as for the Incredible PWEI, aint never gonna happen, Clint IS working with Miles C*nt on soundtracks, but Richy is busy teaching at Halesowen College, Adam is still drunk and as for fat lad...who knows!

Neds are a great band. There used to be a link on the Neds homepage
http://listen.to/neds that allowed you to download all the albums and a couple of live gigs. looks like the link is dead now though.
I have Are You Normal? and 0.522 and on CD as well as a couple of singles on 12" and all the albums on MP3. I would like to go see them, but I fear that work is going to get in the way...
