Is that the Vega version? Has anyone actually heard it, or is its existence just a rumour?

he's on a well deserved holiday.
there are three vocals, Von, James Ray and Vega. That's what Robin posted on Dominion back in the day...

I came across another name of someone who had it (supposedly). He never replied to inquiries about it, though. Should I try to hunt down his name?

Worth a try but I doubt he has a copy.
I've heard people talk about this tape. They never have a copy themself but know someone who does. It's always that they're no longer in touch with the person and don't know where they are now, or the other person is an awkward sh!t and won't copy it for anybody.

So does it actually exist? Or is it a joke that got out of hand?

I guess that I am in the friend-of-a-friend type of scenario which Dan describes. Someone once posted on the dominion listserv a question about a tape which he had. It seemed legitimate to me, but maybe he was just playing games with the list. He never replied to my emails (he probably got a few emails from list memebers), so I can not offer any more details. I may still have his email address or original post, but it is from my old account which I can not access as easily at the moment. It may be in the dominion archives if anyone wants to look through it. I am guessing that it is from 2000 or so. Yeah, not much to go on there, but that is the background of this source. Run with it or consider it a red herring as you see fit.
I also have never seen/heard Robin's copy or been able to get a copy out of him
, but I am under the impression that he indeed has a copy. (By the way, I have found dealing with Robin pleasant.) Again, take the value of the statement with as much or little authority as you want.
I at least believe that a recording does exist. Maybe Robin or someone else can confirm that at least.

Robin described his copy of it on Dominion a good few years back, and there is no reason to doubt him.

Right, consider me convinced it exists
But isn't it
frustrating that we can'r get at it!

i dont think robin would weed it. anyone who labels their sales on ebay as 'from the infamous uncle sister collection' doesnt sound like someone whos gonna weed out probably the rarest sisters recording around
Maybe one day we'll see it on ebay for 300 pounds

there isn't any dubts that it exist
Robin got it directly from Andrew Pinnel and AP got directly from JR
there arent any copies around. I had saw a pic of it and remember that got hanwritten titles from Eldo or JR. dont remember exactly who wrote them
also saw the original demo tape (later weeding as K.G) that had also an
handritten cover by eldo in pens.

1. correct
2. correct: just back
3. correct
i did finally get the whole story, but it took ages and ages and i promised not to tell (inner circle stuff). i'll confirm there there are two versions recorded at different sessions, one is even rarer then the other because it was
destroyed
doubt robin has both versions:
