I am of course referring to those wonderful songs like Blood Money, Afterhours, Poison Door, etc. :?:

Some of their greatest ever moments missing from the CD age

Isnt it on either the Enter the sisters or Rarities also? I have both so I'll check. I really would like modern quality recordings of Adrenochrome, on the wire, train and all the stuff from that period. We already have some good recordings for floorshow and the likes, But we lack most of the really early stuff on mass produced CD's. I didnt like afterhours so much, But I love poison door on the wire and blood money. Along with Adrenochrome and the live recordings of First and Last and always those are my favorite sisters tracks.*edit* Ive got Good recordings of Blood money, After hours, On the Wire and Poison door on my PC from Enter the sisters. If anyone wants them they can IM me and Ill be glad to send the files. Or you could just get them off soulseek, thats where I got them.

You can usually pick it up on ebay for around 15-30 quid. If you're lucky, you might even pick up the copy that I sent to someone a few months back that looks as though it has been lost in the post

Think Andrew said when asked that he couldn't be bothered hanging around the studio doing these and the BBC radio shows they did. And that WEA did not want to pay.

Hmm... regarding Japanese remix thingies.. As far as I remember, Eldritch remixed FALAA for the CD release and to be honest it doesn't quite match up to the original.. hence my joy at finding a Japanese CD with what sounds exactly like the original - as far as I can hear, when comparing it the original LP..

I have a copy of the original CD mix of F&L&A if anyone wants a copy. didn't the remix CD version come out in 1992?

Pretty much so, the 'digitally remastered' version I think it was stickered as, I had it on tape (being 15 at the time with limited audio technology!... the halcyon days when I first discovered the Sisters...)..

I reckon it was re-released on the strength of the Temple of Love and Some Girls... releases..

What confuses me is.. did FALAA ever get an offical CD release first time around.. given that Floodland was on CD in 87 and prior to that CD releases weren't really happening.. As I said before I was pretty chuffed that the Jap CD has a mix virtually identical to the original LP but the CD that can be bought in the shops has the 'remaster', which is pretty guff at points to be honest.. (well that's my view anyhow..)

The first CD release was in 1988 if memory serves.
