There tends to be a big gap between 31 Deceember 1969 and sometime in November 2002.

some are just funnier than others...

for what its worth, that was from when i upgraded the forum software from phpBB v1 to v2 - the initial db upgrade scripts changed the data structure and rejigged the way it stores dates. unfortunately it then bummed out having converted half of them.

when i re-ran the upgrade scripts they were looking for the old date format to convert - when they hit the records with the new date format (from the aborted first pass) they mangled it all up

and thats why a lot of the older posts appear to have been posted on 1st jan 1970

i actually meant during the day.. like 2 hours? 4?

apart from going on holiday, my longest time between checking in is probably about 3 days. then i start getting twichy and 'afeared of what you lot will be getting up to in my absence
