Heartland

Having watched a goth special on MTV last night I was interested to see what sites there were available on the net. I was delighted to soon discover The Skeletal Family site which eventally lead to Ghost Dance and finally to this forum.

Although now a married, (nearly) 40 year old with children I have never lost my affection for my Leeds/Bradford based college years and the music scene that surrounded it. I have lost count of the number of amazing bands I saw during those fantastic years, Ghost Dance, Skeletal Family, Southern Death Cult, Sisters of Mercy, March Violets, Bauhaus, Danse Society, The Hollow Men and Salvation to name but a few.

It's so interesting to discover that there is still a huge fanbase for this music and I also hear rumours that some of the bands are reforming. I will keep a keen eye on this site and this forum from now on.

So nice to find like minded people

Was put in touch with the Ghost Dance forum first then advised to check this place out. Have I committed some cardinal sin by joining both forums, the natives seem restless. As for the same message at both forums.. when you type as slowly as me you have to get maximum mileage from one message (although subtle editing was employed)
