Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls - first of all I have to apologize - it seems to me we have discussed about it already ... but I've got too heavy hangover to find it and on the other hand - this question tortures me
Sorry.
You can delete or close this thread but before that - please give me a light.
So. Last night I had a booze-up with some interesting people - poets from Germany, Switzerland and the USA and one of them, an American poet (sorry, I need more time to recall his surname, the first name was Milo, that's what I remember) told that his friend, a fan of The Sisters Of Mercy has a recording of a Sisters gig in San Fransisco (it seems to me he told about '97, maybe it was actually '98 ) with a Neil Young song cover (Like A Hurricane - if I don't mistake) -is it possible
Thanks in advance for the info
Neil Young cover?

This probably isn't an answer to your question, but I seem to remember a Sweet Home Alabama cover was attempted at a few gigs (not a Neil song I know but this is the closest thing I could think of ... )
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

It seems the poets believe The m*****n and The Sisters of Mercy are synonomous...
On the aside, I would like to see a Neil Young cover in the future perhaps "Old Man", "Sample & Hold", or "Piece of Crap".

Thanks, it wasn't the answer to my main question but now I rememeber that the thing we probably had discussed already was actually Sweet Home Alabama. So - no need to delete or close the thread?Hojyuu-obi wrote:This probably isn't an answer to your question, but I seem to remember a Sweet Home Alabama cover was attempted at a few gigs (not a Neil song I know but this is the closest thing I could think of ... )

I suppose he might have been thinking of the m*****n who did cover Like a Hurricane

Sweet Home Alabama never rivalled Free Bird for air-guitar-ability IMHO
