This guy has had some good stuff in the past. He has used about 3 or 4 different Ebay usernames though.
I've bought a few things off him. Always had good communication and although he won't take Paypal the Bidpay stuff worked ok.
500 quid is a little steep for this boxset though!

By the way, if my memory serves me well

If it is one of the original batch it came with an A4 promo sheet white text on black background and a B&W photo along with the 4 records - without these it is a crock of crap, I'll happily scan for people if they want to see.

not all orginal copies got the press kit, mostly lost through the years
anyway the sheet is 2 side on grey paper, black text and blue wea new release logo on the top. Some collector states that also reversed colours are genuine, this can to be maybe truth but there is not proof. I remember when come out and it was as show on the ebay. Mine got the press kit, friend of mine ones not.

It'll be good if you can scan it and chuck it into the photo album.

He hasn't even bothered to reply to my questions
Anyone else here think that 'User ID kept private' auctions are a bit dodgy (artificailly raising the price
)

I know at least 10 people who have such a boxset, I'd say there are more (but if they are all originals that is another question).

I avoid auctions with hidden bidders or especially hidden feedback. It just breaks down trust. For that matter, I am not convinced that having members log in to HL as hidden is a good idea.

to be honest, neither am i...
but i know in the past one or two members have had valid resons for wanting to use that feature (eg: to avoid cyber-stalkers etc) and so on the whole i decided to leave it enabled.... and (touch wood) it has yet to be misused.

880?
How do you know that the winner in America? Did you ask the seller? The bidders information is hidden.
I would hesitate sending so much money to someone with such feedback as the seller has.
