IPODs

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Teenage daughter has requested an Ipod for Christmas! Any suggestions on decent ones?

There seem to be so many different ones around. Price wise im not too bothered, as long as it's worth what i pay!

Daughter number 2 (10yrs) has requested a mobile camera phone, digital camera, lap top (frickin laptop ffs!) and latest Busted CD. Hah! No chance on the last one!!

Oh the joys of Christmas! :urff:

an iPod is an iPod...except if it's a mini-iPod which imho are crap...
there are of course other MP3 players, but none of them even approaches the iPod in quality (actually it's not true, there is one but I forgot which one :o )

clicky

5 pages of reviews of the various mp3 players on the market.

But a teenage daughter, being a teenager (and female :innocent: ) might have a hissy fit unless she gets a proper iPod.

My sister wants an iPod mini in pink :|
But she refuses to go anywhere near a computer because "they're sad".
If she gets what she wants this Xmas it's gonna be fun watching her trying to play cds on her iPod (as she's planning on doing)....

that's what I like to hear. Main prob with the US IPod is the red circle thingy, it should be a different colour. Charcoal would be good.

 I thought that was like cornflakes with strawberries - yanno, just cos it's got 'em on the box doesn't mean they're inside, nor should they be added if you're in any sort of stable mindframe....

Right! Which means I can walk into anything I want, without shame. Bow peasant!

Doomy! How dare you compare U2 to a cornflakes serving suggestion only!

I just meant that (as far as i knew) you didn't HAVE to have the U2
U2 are far more like all-bran than cornflakes. Although both bow down to the mighty Shreddies. Which are kinda like Zodiac mindwarp.

I think the U2 stuff costs extra, which is lame cos it's not like I can afford the stupid ipod to begin with, you know?

Quiffy, don't make me hurt you. Cos I will. If you make me. ;D
