Any views on whether it's a miss-press, a test-press, or what?

Its a test pressing this was the case with Dominion and This Corrosion (which had a 12" and 7" pink label test pressing) a bit costly but nicer than a crap box with four standard release 12" in, and the price wasn't inflated by the seller using other ebay accounts to artificially up the price!!!!!

>crap box with four standard release 12"

No i think it is generally a crap box admittedly a highly sought after crap box, nothing different about the records they are first issue releases. Some people dislike tapes some dislike box sets i hate the TC 7" box set the Dominion 12" box set and the WEA box set, having said that i have all 3 but purely for completion.

we need also consider that wea box featuring (together 1st lp) the best sisters work ever while after 1985 the music content is totally s..t
During those years several faking wea box set was done so the precious and rarity damaged & inflated who got the real ones
Who was into the Sisters in 84/86 know what mean to have one copy at home.

... but the real question regarding the box set would be: how does one tell if it's fake or not?

Isn't there also a Floodland pink label TP ?

the original is only as pictured now on ebay
black box with white titles stamped
no square sheet attached, no square white with black titles ect
somebody claims that some "promo copy" had white square with black titles stamped on (no glued sheet) but this is unverifiable now

I've never seen or heard of Floodland pink label but the TC 7" is now owned by Yanick and i have a 12" of TC with pink label. WEA box set original as per ebay is about 25 copies as detailed above. The fakes are easy to spot one is pictured on Yanicks site. The box history is quite amusing when Andrew Pinnell was researching Heartland and i showed him my box and inserts he had never seen one and when he asked WEA and MR about them they denied all knowledge!! the letter can be scanned and uploaded to the gallery if wanted.
