Where's all the gossip, self-mutual back-slapping, pictures and all round 'filling the rest of us in who couldn't get there' from Sunday night?

Very poor - or perhaps it was??? :?

rhombus were very loud and very cool. i played lots of ace stuff, as did fraser. i also managed a good few dances.

a few people were there, and they seemed to enjoy it.

pretty much it really. still waiting on phono paul to post the setlists on the sheepish.net forums because i didnt get a copy of it - and i pretty much winged it. i do recall playing izzy's drum n bass version of burn, and motorhead's capricorn fairly early on, with a goodly amount of old goff nonsense to follow it up with.

What he means is he stood at the back shouting things like "supersonic!" and now can't remember why
Have to say the djs were playing some damn fine choons! (The Glove?! Yowsa!) and the general feeling is "best Rhombus gig ever"
Possibly in part due to some of the following:
Guest riffage from Padstar :notworthy:
Guest... err... "vocals" from QB :innocent:
The three slightly over-excited dancing goths
The lovley lovley veneue
The new choons sounding fab live
The fact that goth music usually goes down best when played to goths (rather than drunk hippies in the classic rock bar *ahem!*)

Twas a great night.

Quiffy DJ'd with the kind of quality you'd expect from Pat Sharp!

Next time we play, maybe Quiffy would like to strap on a guitar and join us for a tune?

Funnily enough we have!

If it was E you could play 90% of the set

ahh, i can do E aswell

if pushed, and it didnt require an especially quick change i could also do B, and maybe G and C.

thats about it though - having another lesson tonight so we'll see what i can play after that  8)

could i play my ian curtis-esque white 12 string? its very nearly a rhombus shape too  its a 12 string version of this one (mine has no bigsby either):
