I saw that. Blimey.
I hate to make a joke of it, but if a short-ar
sed balding guy wearing sunglasses ever turns up at a Smurphs gig, make sure you're wearing a bullet-proof vest Pads

Rather ironic that Dimebag is shot to death.
They must be very proud having their commandment which states every American has the right to own firearms.
The twisted side of this fact is Dimebag and Vinnie kinda supported this legal right...

I'm not a Pantera/Damageplan fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I was pretty shocked when I heard.
Not so much the crime, as hearing Krishnan Guru-Murthy say the word "Pantera" on Channel Four News.

Not a very good one, but one at hand
By the way, I was also quite surprised that Belgian TeleText sacrifices TWO WHOLE PAGES on this news! Two pages about a metalband that are, for a change, NOT called Within Temptation, Metallica or Bruce Springsteen.

I'm still shocked,........
this world is getting crazier by the hour !
Now you cannot even go safe to a concert / gig. This is to sad for words what happend. Why do people get this frustrated. It's sick !!!
Here in Holland we are not even allowed to go crowdsurfing becouse of the "danger" If you go to a concert you know people wanna go crowdsurfing, if you don't like it, go to the side or a not so crowded spot. but bringing weopons to a gig,....... thats is sicks !

ok, the joke went a little too far. We did all this just to see who our true fans were, and I think we can now say we have some pretty loyal fans, and some pretty scummy people on this earth. Dime Bag isn't dead, no-one got hurt. It was a publicity stunt (which worked fairly well I must add) Please no harsh feelings against the band, or against the fans. Dime bag is going to be on MTV's breaking news at 7:00 this morning letting everyone in on the incident. Please don't panic, but please, keep spreading the rumors and gossip, we need this thing to get so completely huge that everyone out there will hear the name "Damage Plan"

That makes two of us.
Really makes me wonder if I'm gonna be the next one being shot off the stage, or Paddy, or one of our Rhombus friends.
One of these trigger-happy assholes is enough to set off the chain reaction.
I remember one report of a family tragedy here in Belgium one year ago (father killing his wife and kids, committing suicide thereafter), and the next months like twenty of these cases came on the news.
*shudder*
