Poor Mr Padstar...yer've got me sympathies.
I had a version of it last week...still just getting over it. Had one day off, but had to go in next day as there was stuff i HAD to do. d'oh!
However, I've been stuffing meself with Vitamin C tablets - and I'm on the verge of being OK again...
Have a Lemsip. You KNOW you want to...
Blokeflu indeed! Isn't there a law against saying stuff like that!!!!

Blokeflu... aw, that's terribly unfair. I can assure you that us laydeez are more than capable of being utterly floored by what is essentially just a cold. Higher pain threshold my arse!
My throat feels like sandpaper at the moment and as far as I can see that's more than enough to warrant sitting on the sofa with the duvet wrapped round me watching Trisha tomorrow.
My sympathies go out to you, Padstar, whether it's The Real Thing or not!

Just drink ten bottles of Stella and smoke two packets of cigarettes and convince yourself it's a hangover. Works for me.

I've got the sniffles at the moment, nothing a few glasses of mulled wine won't sort out though!

Had it about 6 weeks back, the cough stayed for a few weeks after. A total pisser.
