Apparently there is a shortage of Branston pickle due to a fire at the factory a few weeks ago. What
am I going to put on my standard pie on Boxing Day?

Aha! Pam couldn't find any in Morrisons (ex Safeway) in Bramley last week though. A more thorough search encompassing all supermarkets in the vicinity would seem to be required.

Saw some in Sainsburys on London Road, Southend the other day, with a rather sad little note apologising for the shortage.
So, what's it worth .....

It was on the radio in November, I remember. As we're descending on relatives this Crimbo, I thought I'd pass the buck. But if THEY haven't secured a supply, I'll throw a hissy fit for sure.
