Any idea on the location?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Well, that imaginative, and somewhat confusing title does nothing to illustrate this question:

Anyone have any idea where the mp3s to "Flood III" (no idea what bootleg(s) that's on..) and "Ripsters Of Mercy" (FALAA with movie sounds inserted, found on the b-side of a bootleg imaginatively named "Alice") can be found?

Will not pay good money. :innocent:

You find Flood III (possibly) in 14. It is down as Flood I (coz Flood II is basically a demo of Flood I)

I got someone to record me Flood III as it was on an LP and I had all the other tracks. It turned out to be exactly the same as Flood II on the Floodland Demos. As for Ripsters of Mercy. It's sh!t.

Really? I found a clip of it somewhere and it sounded like Flood II mixed with Flood I or something, just like II but different, basically.
I know Ripsters is, but you think that I'm gonna miss out a Sisters track I've not heard before just because it'll suck? Why else would I have listened to Phantom and the "karaoke versions" and "demo versions" of half the songs? (that's right, I hate Phantom. So sue me (except if it's Von reading this, in which case, don't.))

Even if Ripsters will suck, I really want to hear it.

Ah, go on the weeding then. The Echoes I-IV and the Demos and Rarities Boots will basically give you everything.

I don't think I have a copy of Ripsters because as far as I am concerned it isn't really a proper Sisters demo.

It's not a Sisters track.
It bears little resemblance to the Sisters.
It's just a cocophany. It sounds like a child downloaded soundforge and this was their first attempt at doing anything.

If there really is a version of Flood III that isn't exactly the same as Flood II floodland demo then I'd like to hear it but I remain unconvinced. It just seemed like a bootleggers error or a deliberate mistake to sell an LP.

I'm not gonna get an mp3, am I? :)

Well, I found that website where I got Flood III from. Sadly, the download doesn't appear to be working, and I've either lost or deleted the mp3 (I hate me sometimes, I really do).

The site is reachable via Google or Clicky. If anyone can get it, and then put it on Soulseek or something, I would be eternally greatful (besides, you can't have too many Floodland demos) ;)

EDIT: A friend got it for me, as it seemed to just not want to download it onto my computer. It sounds almost identical to Flood I. Oh well. Time to hunt down Ripsters. *gets out shotgun*

Maybe I won't kill it then. That would make everyone here happy. And that's not my objective. :)
